Depending on your purchase, additional course-, programme-, qualification-, accreditation- or service-specific Terms & Conditions may apply. Where specific Terms & Conditions are provided before purchase, they should be read alongside these general Terms & Conditions.
Please read the applicable Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing or enrolling.

2. Prices
All prices displayed or quoted by International Approval Limited are subject to change before purchase.
Once an order or enrolment has been completed at an agreed price, subsequent promotional offers or price changes will not be applied retrospectively.
Any written quotation provided directly by International Approval Limited is valid for the period stated on the quotation or, where no period is specified, for 7 days.
From time to time, we may offer promotional, early-bird or limited-time prices. These offers apply only in accordance with the conditions advertised and cannot be applied retrospectively to previous purchases.
3. Payment
Payment requirements will be displayed or communicated before purchase.
Depending on the programme or service, payment may be required:
in full;
by deposit followed by a balance payment; or
through an agreed payment plan.
Where a payment plan is offered for a fixed-price programme, qualification, accreditation package or other service, the payment plan is a method of paying the total agreed price unless expressly stated otherwise.
It is not a monthly subscription that can simply be cancelled because the customer or learner decides they no longer wish to continue.
Subject to applicable statutory rights and the applicable agreement, outstanding instalments remain payable in accordance with the payment plan agreed at purchase.
Failure to maintain agreed payments may result in suspension or withdrawal of access and recovery of outstanding amounts where permitted by law.
4. Online & Distance Purchases
Our courses, programmes, accreditation packages and other digital services are purchased online and may include digital content and/or ongoing services.
Consumers purchasing online will normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period, subject to applicable legal rules and exceptions.
Where immediate access to digital content is provided, the customer will be asked before completing their purchase to expressly request and consent to immediate supply and acknowledge the effect that immediate supply has on their statutory cancellation rights.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes a statutory cancellation right or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Immediate Access to Digital Content
Certain courses, programmes, accreditation packages, resources and services include digital content which is made available immediately following purchase.
Where digital content is supplied before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period, the customer will be required at checkout to:
expressly request and consent to receiving the digital content immediately; and
acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, they will lose their statutory right to cancel in relation to that digital content.
By selecting the applicable immediate-access consent at checkout and completing the purchase, the customer expressly requests immediate supply of the applicable digital content.
Once supply of that digital content begins following the customer's express consent and acknowledgement, the applicable statutory cancellation right relating to that digital content will be lost.
Customers should therefore only request immediate access where they are happy for digital content to be supplied immediately and understand the effect this has on their cancellation rights.
6. Services Beginning During the Cancellation Period
Some purchases include ongoing services in addition to digital content. These may include tutor allocation, tutor support, marking, assessment, feedback, accreditation review, administrative support or other services.
Where a customer expressly requests that these services begin during an applicable statutory cancellation period, International Approval Limited may begin providing those services immediately.
Where a statutory cancellation right relating to an ongoing service remains available and is validly exercised during the cancellation period, the customer may be required to pay for the proportion of services already supplied where permitted by law.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions removes any statutory cancellation right relating to services where that right cannot legally be excluded.
7. Contract Confirmation
Following an applicable online purchase, International Approval Limited will provide confirmation of the contract in a form that the customer can retain, such as by email.
Where immediate digital content has been requested, the confirmation will record the customer's express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement concerning the applicable cancellation right where required.
Customers should retain their purchase confirmation and applicable Terms & Conditions for their records.
TRAINING COURSES & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
8. Programme-Specific Terms
Certain programmes have their own Terms & Conditions covering matters including:
programme duration;
access periods;
tutor support;
assessments;
completion deadlines;
extensions;
payment arrangements;
cancellation provisions; and
refund provisions.
These programme-specific Terms & Conditions will be provided or made available before purchase and form part of the applicable agreement.
Where programme-specific terms apply, they should be read alongside these general Terms & Conditions.
9. Learner Responsibility
Learners are responsible for engaging with their programme and completing required coursework, assessments, examinations, case studies and other requirements within the applicable timeframe.
Where programme access, learning materials and support have been made available as agreed, failure to access, engage with or complete a programme does not create an entitlement to additional access, a free extension or a full or partial refund.
It is the learner's responsibility to manage their study time and complete their programme within the timeframe purchased.
Choosing not to use the programme or support made available does not mean that the programme or service has not been provided.
Changes in personal circumstances do not automatically alter the agreed programme period or create an entitlement to a refund.
Nothing in this section affects statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Course & Programme Extensions
Where an educational programme has a fixed completion or access period, this will be stated in the applicable programme information and/or programme-specific Terms & Conditions.
Learners are responsible for completing their programme within the stated timeframe.
If a learner has not completed within the allocated period and wishes to continue, an extension may be available and will be subject to the applicable extension fee.
The duration, price and conditions of an extension will be stated within the applicable programme-specific terms or communicated before the extension is purchased.
Additional programme access is not automatically provided free of charge after the original programme period expires.
Failure to complete within the original programme period does not create an entitlement to a free extension, pause, restart or refund.
11. Pauses & Deferrals
A learner does not have an automatic right to pause, defer or restart a programme because they are unable to study or because their circumstances have changed.
Any pause, deferral, complimentary extension or alternative arrangement offered by International Approval Limited is entirely discretionary and must be expressly confirmed by us in writing.
Any such arrangement is a gesture of goodwill only.
A discretionary arrangement:
does not have a cash value;
cannot be exchanged for a refund;
does not remove future extension fees unless expressly confirmed;
does not create an ongoing entitlement for that learner; and
does not create an entitlement to the same arrangement for another learner.
Unless International Approval Limited has expressly confirmed an alternative arrangement in writing, the original programme timeframe and applicable extension conditions continue to apply.
12. Tutor Support
Where tutor support forms part of a programme, the type and duration of support will be described in the applicable programme information.
Tutor support may include assessment, marking, feedback and reasonable guidance relating to completion of the programme.
Tutor support is allocated and made available throughout the applicable programme period regardless of how frequently the learner chooses to use it.
Learners are responsible for requesting support when required and submitting work with sufficient time remaining for assessment and feedback before the applicable programme deadline.
Additional support outside that included within the programme may be subject to an additional charge.
13. Assessment & Certification
Payment for or enrolment onto a programme does not guarantee successful completion, certification or achievement of a qualification.
Learners must successfully meet all applicable assessment requirements.
Tutors and assessors may require learners to:
complete written or oral assessments;
submit assignments;
complete practical assessments;
provide case studies or other evidence; and
resubmit work that does not initially meet the required assessment criteria.
Certificates will only be issued where all applicable requirements have been successfully completed.
14. Previous Qualifications & Learner Information
Learners are responsible for providing accurate information regarding previous qualifications and, where relevant, learner numbers or other information required for registration with an awarding organisation.
Learners must inform International Approval Limited of any additional learning requirements or reasonable adjustments they may require as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.
15. Insurance & Local Requirements
Learners are responsible for checking any insurance requirements, licensing requirements, local authority requirements, prerequisites or other regulatory requirements that apply to them before practising, teaching or offering treatments commercially.
Requirements may differ between insurers, locations and jurisdictions.
Completion of a course does not guarantee that every insurer, employer, licensing authority or other third party will accept the qualification or training for every intended purpose.
REFUNDS, NON-COMPLETION & CHANGES IN CIRCUMSTANCES
16. Our Refund Policy
Once any applicable statutory cancellation right has expired or has been validly lost in accordance with applicable law, International Approval Limited does not provide discretionary full or partial refunds.
Customers and learners should therefore ensure that they are satisfied that the programme, accreditation package or service is suitable for them before purchasing and requesting immediate access.
A customer or learner is not entitled to a full or partial refund simply because they subsequently decide not to continue with, use or complete the programme, accreditation package or service they purchased.
The fact that a customer does not make use of content, support or services made available to them does not convert the purchase into a refundable purchase.
Nothing in this section excludes a statutory right or remedy that International Approval Limited is legally required to provide.
17. Changes in Personal Circumstances
Changes in personal circumstances do not create an entitlement to a full or partial refund.
This includes, but is not limited to, changes relating to:
employment or working arrangements;
financial circumstances;
family or caring commitments;
health or medical circumstances;
bereavement;
personal availability;
moving or relocation;
pregnancy or parental responsibilities;
a change in career or business plans;
deciding no longer to provide treatments or training;
deciding that the qualification, accreditation or service is no longer required; or
a learner's ability or decision to continue with or complete their programme.
Where the purchased programme, digital content, accreditation package or service has been supplied or made available in accordance with the applicable agreement, a subsequent change in circumstances does not result in fees being refunded, either in full or in part.
Changes in personal circumstances also do not automatically entitle a learner to pause, restart or extend a programme, receive additional access free of charge or avoid an applicable extension fee.
Any pause, complimentary extension, deferral or other arrangement expressly offered by International Approval Limited is a discretionary gesture of goodwill only. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a full or partial refund.
Nothing in this section affects statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Non-Completion, Non-Engagement & Change of Mind
Once any applicable statutory cancellation rights have expired or have been validly lost, no full or partial refund will be provided because a customer or learner:
changes their mind after purchasing;
chooses not to access digital content;
does not log into or use their programme;
does not engage with their programme;
does not contact or make use of tutor support;
does not submit required work or assessments;
fails to complete within the allocated programme period;
decides they no longer wish to obtain the qualification;
decides they no longer wish to teach or provide the relevant service;
decides they no longer require accreditation;
no longer requires the programme or service;
experiences a change in personal circumstances; or
otherwise chooses not to continue with what they purchased.
Where programme access, digital content, tutor support, accreditation services or other applicable services have been supplied or made available in accordance with the agreement, choosing not to use those services does not create an entitlement to a refund.
Where a programme has a specified access or completion period, it is the learner's responsibility to complete within that period.
Failure to complete within the applicable period does not result in fees already paid being refunded.
Where an extension is available after the original programme period, the applicable extension fee must be paid unless International Approval Limited has expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
Nothing within this section removes any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
COURSE ACCREDITATION & APPROVAL SERVICES
19. Accreditation & Approval Applications
International Approval Limited provides course accreditation and approval services subject to the requirements applicable to the package purchased.
Customers applying for course approval are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and documentation.
Approval is subject to the course and supporting documentation satisfying the applicable International Approval standards and requirements.
Payment does not guarantee approval where the required standards have not been met.
Where amendments or additional information are required before approval can be granted, the applicant will be informed accordingly.
20. Accreditation & Approval Packages
The features, number of courses, support and other benefits included within an accreditation or approval package will be those advertised or agreed at the time of purchase.
Where a package permits approval of a specified number of courses, approval is limited to that number unless additional approval is purchased or the customer upgrades their package.
Package-specific conditions communicated before purchase form part of the agreement.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the package selected is appropriate for their requirements before purchasing.
21. Accreditation Period
Accreditation or approval packages are provided for the period specified at the time of purchase.
Customers are responsible for monitoring their approval expiry date and completing any renewal required to maintain active approval.
Continued use of International Approval Limited branding, approval status, certificates, badges or other approval materials after approval has expired is not permitted unless renewal has been completed or International Approval Limited has expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
22. Renewals
Where accreditation or approval is renewable, the applicable renewal price and terms will be communicated before renewal.
Renewal prices may differ from the price originally paid.
International Approval Limited may update package prices, standards and requirements for future renewal periods.
Any automatic renewal arrangement, where offered, will be clearly disclosed before the customer enters into it and administered in accordance with applicable law.
Failure to renew by the applicable expiry date may result in approval ending and the provider being required to stop representing the relevant courses as International Approval approved.
23. Maintaining Approval Standards
Approved training providers are responsible for continuing to meet the standards upon which approval was granted.
International Approval Limited may request reasonable evidence or undertake quality-assurance activity to ensure standards continue to be met.
Providers must inform International Approval Limited of material changes to an approved course, including significant changes to:
course content;
learning outcomes;
delivery methods;
assessments;
tutor requirements; or
other matters relevant to the basis upon which approval was granted.
Material changes may require review or reapproval.
24. Suspension or Withdrawal of Approval
International Approval Limited may suspend or withdraw approval where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:
approval standards are no longer being met;
approval was obtained using materially inaccurate or misleading information;
International Approval Limited branding is being misused;
a provider is representing courses as approved when they are not;
serious quality, safety or compliance concerns arise; or
fees properly due under the applicable agreement remain unpaid.
Where reasonably practicable, International Approval Limited will explain the concern and provide the provider with an opportunity to respond or remedy the issue before final withdrawal, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
Any suspension or withdrawal will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
25. Status of International Approval Accreditation
International Approval accreditation or approval confirms that a course has been reviewed against the applicable International Approval standards.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, International Approval accreditation does not itself make a course an Ofqual-regulated qualification or confer regulated qualification status.
Training providers are responsible for describing the status and nature of their approved courses accurately to prospective learners.
International Approval accreditation must not be represented as a regulated qualification where this is not the case.
26. Insurance & Approved Courses
Where International Approval Limited identifies insurers that may recognise or insure particular approved training, this does not constitute a guarantee that every individual learner, treatment, course or training provider will obtain insurance.
Insurance decisions remain subject to each insurer's own eligibility criteria, underwriting requirements, prerequisites and terms.
Training providers and learners are responsible for confirming their individual insurance requirements directly with the relevant insurer.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
27. Course, Accreditation & Business Materials
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights in International Approval Limited materials remain owned by International Approval Limited and/or the applicable rights holder.
This includes, where applicable:
course manuals;
training materials;
videos;
templates;
presentations;
assessments;
digital resources;
accreditation resources;
graphics;
logos;
branding; and
other proprietary materials.
Purchase, enrolment, membership or accreditation does not transfer ownership of intellectual property rights.
Materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, shared, uploaded, adapted for commercial resale or provided to another person without prior written permission, except where expressly permitted by the applicable licence or agreement.
28. Accreditation Branding
Approved providers may use International Approval Limited accreditation branding only during the period in which their approval remains active and in accordance with any branding or usage requirements provided.
Approval logos, certificates, badges or representations must not be altered or used in a misleading manner.
International Approval branding must not be used in connection with courses that have not been approved.
Use of approval branding must stop when the relevant approval expires, is suspended or is withdrawn unless International Approval Limited confirms otherwise in writing.
